Pierce has dedicated his life to humanitarian work and is committed to helping people learn to help themselves. His enthusiasm for helping others and making a difference in their lives is infectious and a critical component of the Clean Water Matters Team.
Pierce is a decorated, war-wounded veteran who has received two Purple Heart awards, a Silver Star for valor in combat and a Bronze Star medal with a “V” device for heroism in combat. As Director of the Pike County (PA) Veterans Affairs, he is active in working with veterans as an advocate for veterans’ rights. He has also been active for decades with helping veterans transition from hospitalization back into the community through wheelchair basketball and Paralympics.
Pierce has worked in fundraising for many nonprofits and veterans organizations through the years and believes that passion for the cause is essential for any fundraising activity. He is passionate about safe water for the world.
